Future’s 'Beastmode 2' Breaks Billboard 200 Album Chart Record

Meek Mill earns another Top 10 project.

(AllHipHop News) Two recent surprise Hip Hop projects collected enough units to debut among the most popular albums of the week. Future’s Beast Mode 2 commercial mixtape and Meek Mill's Legends Of The Summer EP landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Beast Mode 2 opened at No. 3 with 57,000 units. That total gives Future the highest-charting streaming-exclusive album of all time. The Atlanta rhymer surpassed the record previously held by Chance the Rapper’s Coloring Book which peaked at #8 in 2016.

Legends Of The Summer earned 26,000 units giving Meek his fifth Top 10 entry on the Billboard 200. Drake' Scorpion returned to #1 with another 335,000 equivalent album units in its second week.
