Future's 'The Wizrd' Album Debuts At No. 1 On The Billboard 200 Chart

Hip Hop projects have led the chart for over 2 months.

(AllHipHop News) Future now has six #1 albums on the Billboard 200. His latest LP, The Wizrd, collected 126,000 first-week album units, landing the project in the top spot.

Previously, the Atlanta rhymer's DS2, What A Time To Be Alive (with Drake), Evol, FUTURE, and HNDRXX topped the chart. Future earned the six chart toppers in just three years, five months, and three weeks.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Hoodie SZN drops to #3, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack slips to #4, and 21 Savage’s I Am > I Was dips to #5. Meek Mill’s Championships (#6), Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys (#7), and Travis Scott’s Astroworld (#10) remained in the Top 10.

Hip Hop albums have topped the Billboard 200 for nine consecutive weeks. AstroWorld (1 week), Championships (1 week), XXXTentacion's Skins (1 week), Kodak Black's Dying to Live (1 week), I Am > I Was (2 weeks), Hoodie SZN (2 weeks), and Wizrd (1 week) have controlled the tally since December.
