G-Eazy Discusses Wanting To Follow In Diddy's Footsteps As A Liquor Businessman

Tidal's 'Side Hustle' series covers the Bourbon investor.

(AllHipHop News) Last June, Gerald "G-Eazy" Gillum announced he was taking on the role of co-creative director of Stillhouse Spirits Co. The "No Limit" rapper also invested in the whiskey business founded by Brad Beckerman.

"Spirits companies had approached me with endorsement deals but that was just money. I kept running into Stillhouse everywhere and fell in love with the brand not to mention its smooth whiskey,” stated G-Eazy at the time.

The Bay Area representative dove deeper into his partnership with the Stillhouse and Beckerman on the latest episode of Tidal's Side Hustle. At one point, G-Eazy talked about hopefully following in the footsteps of Cîroc's Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs.

"I want to be Puff... in my very own way. That's my OG. That's a legend in my eyes beyond measure," declared G-Eazy. "I talk to him a lot. He's somebody I look up to like crazy [for] his entrepreneurial spirit and what he's done outside of music."

Previous episodes of Side Hustle highlight other emcees/entrepreneurs like Just Blaze, Jadakiss, and Rick Ross. To watch the Adelle Platon-hosted series visit Tidal.com.
