G-Eazy Had A Hard Time Performing After Mac Miller's Death

The Bay area native says he was deeply affected by the passing of his close friend.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper G-Eazy had to "dig deep" to find the strength to work after hearing about Mac Miller's passing.

It was recently revealed Mac died from an accidental drug overdose on September 7.

G-Eazy got the news during a stop in Tampa, Florida, as he was on the road for his Endless Summer Tour with Ty Dolla $ign and Lil Uzi Vert.

According to G, he was doing a meet-and-greet session with fans. He said he could sense something was not right, even though he couldn't put his finger on what it was at the time.

"It was so hard. I was in my meet-and-greet and... I didn't know, I hadn't been on my phone," G-Eazy said. "I see Ty really emotional and I had never seen him like that. I was like, 'What's going on?'"

"Everybody was being really funny and as soon as my meet-and-greet was over, they (his managers) walked me to my dressing room and wouldn't tell me until I got in, and they told me and it hit me like really, really, really heavily."
