Geto Boys' Bushwick Bill Talks Being Diagnosed With Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer

"I know what it's like on the other side."

(AllHipHop News) The Geto Boys are one of the seminal Hip Hop groups to emerge from the south. The Houston-based collective was the force behind classic tracks such as 1991's "Mind Playing Tricks on Me."

One of the Geto Boys is now battling a serious health condition. Richard "Bushwick Bill" Shaw revealed he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The 52-year-old rapper spoke to TMZ about the diagnosis.

"I figured keeping it to myself is not really helping nobody, and it's not like I'm afraid of dying because if anyone who knows anything about me from 'Ever So Clear' - I died and came back already on June 19, 1991, so I know what it's like on the other side," explained Bushwick Bill. "It's about life and loving life and being there for family."

Bill went on to say that he is working on three albums in order to make sure he has residual income set up for his surviving children. A book and a documentary are also possibly in the works.
