(AllHipHop News) Back in December of 2014, police raided Quad Studios in New York City. Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda, along with several members of his GS9 crew, were arrested and later hit with over 100 charges.
Revolt spoke with GS9 affiliate O.P about the night the group was taken down at Manhattan's Quad Recording Studios. New York City Police suspected Shmurda was the leader of a Crips gang that was involved in illegal weapons and murder.
"That was the crazy part. They caught everyone in one night. Everyone happened to be in Quad Studios," said O.P. (aka On Point) who claims he was at the scene when the arrests were made.
He later added, "If the cops watch this interview they're gonna be upset. When they came in, I acted like I was sleeping. They came in I was sleep."
O.P. thought he was going to be arrested as well, but apparently cops said he was not "on their list." According to On Point, he was eventually taken into custody and placed in the same cell as Bobby. Unlike the rest of GS9, O.P. was booked in Brooklyn and later released.
