Gucci Mane Talks Collaborating With Justin Bieber For "Love Thru The Computer"

The single is an ode to Guwop's supportive relationship with Keyshia Ka'oir while he was locked up.

(AllHipHop News) Pop megastar Justin Bieber slid into the Hip Hop space several times by recording songs with artists like Ludacris, Drake, Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, Future, Big Sean, Travis Scott, and Nas. One of Biebs' latest alliances with a rapper came in the form of Gucci Mane's "Love Thru The Computer."

Apple Music's Ebro Darden caught up with the rhymer born Radric Delantic Davis to talk about his upcoming Delusions of Grandeur album. The Beats 1 conversation also included the Atlanta rap legend explaining how the track with Justin Bieber came together.

"That's my guy. We had been talking and chopping it up, just about life. Him being married and just going through a bunch of stuff, and just talking and building on the friendship," stated Gucci. "And then I'm like, 'Man, I got this record I did the other day. It was about my wife, it's special to me. I want you to hear it.' He went and wrote something and did something and sent it back like, 'Do you like this?' I'm like, 'Man, it's super hard. We got to go with this.'"

Gucci Mane also linked with longtime production partner Zaytoven and Philadelphia emcee Meek Mill for the new song "Backwards." On collaborating with Meek, Mr. Zone 6 told Ebro, "It feels special. Even when we recorded it, just the vibe. Just sitting down talking, just about what we had in our lives, that was special. Like two kings, it's like salute to salute. Like man, 'You made it. You made it through. I was praying for you, I was praying for you. I was rooting for you.' I knew this was going to happen."
