(AllHipHop News) Gabriella "H.E.R." Wilson is up for five Grammy awards at the 2019 ceremony. H.E.R.'s self-titled album was nominated for Best R&B Album and Album Of The Year.
"Best Part" got a nod for Best R&B Performance and "Focus" earned a Best R&B Song nom. The Record Academy also recognized the California-raised singer in the stacked Best New Artist category.
The Late Late Show with James Corden invited H.E.R. to the program to perform the record "Carried Away." She also talked to Corden about the meaning behind her stage name. The 21-year-old vocalist stated, "It stands for having everything revealed."
She added, "The best way for me to release my music was to be honest, and in order for me to do that I felt like let me not put my face on my music, let me not put a name on my music, and just give my music the way that it is as pure message, just keep it like that. That's all you can see - 'H.E.R.'"
