Gabi appears to be building her fan base.

(AllHipHop News) Taking home a couple of Grammys can be big for a new artist. Not only does the victory introduce the performer to a larger audience, winning a golden trophy can impact sales as well.

For example, Gabi "H.E.R.” Wilson won Best R&B Performance for “Best Part” and Best R&B Album for H.E.R. at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. The self-titled compilation project saw a huge boost on the charts as a result.

H.E.R. climbed 50 spots to #23 on the latest Billboard 200 following the Grammys. Wilson’s debut full-length has spent 69 total weeks on the chart. It also hit #1 on the Top R&B Albums chart for the first time this week.

In addition, the RIAA has certified H.E.R. as a Gold album. The 21-year-old singer earned a Gold plaque for “Focus” and a Platinum plaque for “Best Part" featuring Daniel Caesar.
