The battle for Nate Dogg's estate was finally put to rest today after months of bickering between his children vs. his wife and mother. Nate Dogg didn't leave a will behind and after his unfortunate death, his wife took control of his estate and appointed his mother to help with dividing his assets. This didn't sit well with his children who allegedly didn't trust them to divide the money fairly.
Well, Nate Dogg's kids got some good news today, because Nate's wife withdrew her petition to control his estate. According to TMZ, there is no word yet on who will helm the distribution of Nate Dogg's estate now - but the children are said to be "ecstatic" with the woman backing down.
Side note: AllHipHop.com scored the exclusive details about Nate Dogg's final album.
The album is going to be called Nate Dogg: It’s A Wonderful Life, and will feature all of the unreleased material recorded by Nate Dogg, in addition to collaborations with artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Jay-Z. I'm so ready for some new Nate Dogg music. I was just listening to one of his tracks the other day. May he rest in peace.
