Ice Cube Raising $20 Billion To Buy Dozens Of Sports TV Stations

The rap mogul is about to take over television.

(AllHipHop News) Ice Cube is about to plunk down billions of dollars in a bid to become the next big television mogul.

According to reports, Ice Cube and entrepreneur Carolyn Rafaelian are leading a team of investors who are attempting to purchase 22 sports television stations from Disney.

The stations are expected to sell for no less than $20 billion dollars when the bidding begins, according to The Wall Street Journal.

In addition to Cube and Rafaelian putting up a big chunk of cash, investors in the Big3 are also going in, as well as other some other unnamed players in the entertainment business.

Ice Cube is already big in television, with shows like "Hip Hop Squares" and the series "Are We There Yet."

He's also had enormous success with films like "Friday," "Next Friday," "Barbershop," "Ride Along" "Straight Outta Compton" and others.
