(AllHipHop News) Yesterday morning (August 6) at approximately 2:30 AM influential southern rap tastemaker and A&R Lil Pooh was tragically shot and killed on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge driving Eastbound toward Oakland.
While details are still emerging, according to multiple reports, Lil Pooh, born Darryl Stinnette, was with two others riding in a SUV headed towards Oakland on the Bay Bridge, when another car opened fire killing Lil Pooh, who was driving the vehicle.
After the shooting, Pooh's SUV hit a sedan and the shooter's car fled. The man in the sedan also in the crash stopped to help Pooh and gave this account:
"They were freaking out," Raul Lopez told the San Francisco Chronicle. "One
guy had blood on his face. The guy in the back was wounded. One man was in shock. He wasn't in his senses."
According to the Bay Area's KRON 4, one person was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon.
The second person remains in the hospital in fair condition.
Lil Pooh started off as a rapper in Dallas, but came to rise as a blogger and A&R who knew how to market artists and connect the dots.
His Twitter profile reads," I Just Connect The Dots and Manage some DOPE work"
Over the past three years Pooh worked with Dirty Glove Bastard and had a well respected ear and knack for picking out talent.

Most recently Pooh was managing and developing Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Sherwood Marty.
Upon hearing of Pooh's passing, members across the rap community took to Twitter to pay their respect to Pooh. Pooh was 31-years-old.
