Irv Gotti Claims He Scolded Kanye West About Bullying Taylor Swift

"What is Taylor Swift gonna say to Kanye West when he got her on the phone?"

(AllHipHop News) Country-Pop singer Taylor Swift and talent manager/record executive Scooter Braun are embroiled in a highly publicized spat over her master recordings which Braun now owns. Taylor also accused him of years-long bullying efforts which included Braun allegedly conspiring with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to secretly record Swift.

In 2016, Kardashian released audio of Swift approving of the controversial "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex" line from West's "Famous." Swift had insisted she had no prior knowledge that Ye would rap those lyrics on the song before it came out. The Kanye versus Taylor feud goes all the way back to the infamous acceptance speech interruption at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Apparently, Swift is still bothered by the Kardashian-West family and their connection to Scooter Braun. The 29-year-old Grammy winner recently wrote (in part) on Tumblr, "Like when Kim Kardashian orchestrated an illegally recorded snippet of a phone call to be leaked and then Scooter got his two clients together to bully me online about it... Or when his client, Kanye West, organized a revenge porn music video which strips my body naked."

Numerous celebrities weighed in on the quarrel between Swift and Braun. During an episode of BET's Black Coffee digital talk show, Irv Gotti was asked about the situation. The Tales creator recalled a discussion he had with Kanye about the G.O.O.D. Music founder's beef with Taylor.

"When I first met Kanye, we had this great conversation. We were talking about Tales. I said, 'I want to talk to you about something.' He said, 'What?'" Gotti stated. "I said, 'I didn't like the whole Taylor Swift sh*t that y'all did. I didn't like it. Y'all bullied that girl.' Because what is Taylor Swift gonna say to Kanye West when he got her on the phone saying, 'I made this song...'? What is she gonna say?"

Irv Gotti added, "[Kanye] felt what I said. He was like, 'What do you think I should do?' I said, 'Just leave it alone. Don't do anything. Leave it alone and let it go away." As of press time, West has not commented on the back-and-forth between his former manager Scooter Braun and Taylor Swift.
