(AllHipHop News) Fans of Aaliyah Dana Haughton have complained for years that all of the late singer's music is not on sites such as Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and Amazon Music. That could be changing next month, according to reports.
A tweet from The Pop Hub claims Aaliyah’s uncle and head of Blackground Records, Barry Hankerson, is teasing that Baby Girl's full discography will become streamable on January 16th, 2020. The alleged message from Hankerson read, "We listened, this is not a drill in honor of the great legacy of #Aaliyah."
That quoted Twitter user is not verified and the page is set to private. The verified Twitter account for the Detroit-bred songstress/actress has not addressed the news, so there is no official confirmation about the One In A Million and Aaliyah LPs.
At the moment, Aaliyah's debut album, Age Ain't Nothing but a Number, is the only full-length project that is available on streaming platforms. Listeners can also currently play soundtrack singles such as "I Don't Wanna" and feature appearances such as "You Won't See Me Tonight" by Nas.
