(AllHipHop News) Cardi B has been hinting she wants to release a follow-up to her platinum-certified album Invasion of Privacy really soon. The Bronx representative jumped on Instagram Live to add more fuel to the speculation about another project.
“There are about five songs that I was supposed to put on Invasion of Privacy, but they didn't fit, didn't finish, didn't make sense," Cardi told her followers. "So I'm gonna put it on this project. I really want to put it out on September 1, but I'm missing like four or five songs."
She continued, "I got four or five songs I gotta finish for this project, and I got like six features I gotta do."
Cardi's debut studio LP just came out in April. Invasion of Privacy is still in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. The set hosts the Top 20 singles "Bodak Yellow," "Bartier Cardi," "Be Careful," and "I Like It."
Belcalis Almanzar took a break from her career while she was pregnant. The Atlantic recording artist gave birth to her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, in July. Cardi is scheduled to return to the stage at the Mala Luna Music Festival in October.
"To my fans, please have patience," stated the hitmaker in her IG video.
