(AllHipHop News) Drake and Kourtney Kardashian's ex Younes Bendjima have been hit with a lawsuit over an alleged altercation outside a nightclub last March.
The boxer-turned-model, who split from the reality star in July after a two-year relationship, was reportedly captured on video punching a man named Bennett Sipes at Delilah nightclub in West Hollywood in the early hours of the morning.
The assault took place in front of a group which included Drake and American football star Odell Beckham Jr.
Sipes originally filed a police report over the alleged incident before changing his mind and dropping it. However, he has now decided to pursue a civil lawsuit against Drake, Bendjima, Beckham Jr. and owners of the nightclub.
"We gave the defendant's months to settle this claim without litigation, but when they failed to be accountable for their actions, we were left with no choice but to file suit to seek justice for our client," Snipes' lawyer Colin Jones said.
In the lawsuit, Sipes claims there was a confrontation between him and the defendants inside the club, and when he tried to leave the VIP area, Drake allegedly gave him the "throat slash" hand gesture.
As he was trying to go to the bathroom, Sipes says he was attacked by Bendjima along with members of Drake and Beckham Jr.'s entourage.
Sipes has shared pictures of his injuries and they show him with a bruise and two cuts around his right eye and scabs and grazes on the palm of his right hand and on his left arm near his elbow.
Sipes claims he continues to incur medical bills and suffers "extreme mental anguish and physical pain."
