(AllHipHop News) This year, fans of Kid Cudi were gifted with the Hip Hop artist's first joint project with his mentor Kanye West. Even after Kids See Ghostsarrived in June, Cudi may be close to releasing another body of work.
The self-described Chosen One sent out a cryptic tweet that could be a teaser for the next Scott Mescudi musical collection. He wrote, "CHANGE IS COMING ~~#~~asteriskcollective." Cudi also added a voice message.
"This is not the world we want. We’re rewriting the script because these rules don’t apply. We’ll be showing up with real people, in real places, in real ways, to inspire positive change," stated Scott. "Bravery, courage, and action, uniting to showcase the power of creativity. Let’s create a better future together. We are the exception to the rule. We are the Asterisk Collective."
In October, Kid Cudi informed his 1.9 million followers that he began recording his seventh solo album and suggested it could come out in 2019. The Grammy winner has also hinted that more acting gigs were on the way as well.
2016's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' was Cudi's last studio LP. His filmography consists of roles in How to Make It in America, Need for Speed, Entourage, and more.
