J.I.D Dedicates Television Performance Debut On 'The Tonight Show' To Mac Miller

BJ The Chicago Kid and Thundercat joined the ATL emcee.

(AllHipHop News) J.I.D is still a relatively unknown rapper in the mainstream. However, the Dreamville Records artist introduced himself to many Americans last night when he made his network television debut.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tapped J.I.D for a performance of the DiCaprio 2 track "Skrawberries." R&B vocalist BJ The Chicago Kid and Funk instrumentalist Thundercat were also on hand for the program.

"Skrawberries" was co-produced by Mac Miller. J.I.D used his Tonight Show set to honor the late musician who died in September from an accidental drug overdose.

"This is a dedication to a close friend of mine, me and Thundercat's. I just want to say, everybody, check on your strong friends," said J.I.D. as the camera zoomed in on Thundercat's Mac Miller tattoo. J.I.D ended the performance by saying, "We love you Mac."
