Jada Pinkett-Smith Denies Scientology Allegations

Who is telling the truth here? Jayda Pinkett is the dying allegations that she is a Scientologist

(AllHipHop News) Jada Pinkett Smith has dismissed Leah Remini's claims she is a Scientologist, insisting she is not a member of the church.

The "King of Queens" actress was a devout Scientologist for 30 years before she famously quit the religion in 2013, and she has since become one of the organization's most vocal opponents, highlighting the questionable practices of the religion in a new TV series.

She has also spoken about her experiences with other celebrities while she was practising and she recently claimed Will Smith's wife was a member of the religion.

"I know Jada's in. She's been in Scientology a long time," she told The Daily Beast. "I never saw Will (Smith) there, but I saw Jada at the Celebrity Center. They opened up a Scientology school, and have since closed it. But Jada, I had seen her at the Scientology Celebrity Center all the time."

In 2013, Jada and Will opened the New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas, California, but it has since shut down.

The couple previously insisted the school was secular, but it did teach some of Scientology's practices.

Now Jada is speaking out about Leah's claims, explaining she has taken part in many different religious customs, but she is not a practicing Scientologist.

"I have studied Dianetics, and appreciate the merits of Study Tech... but I am not a Scientologist," she wrote on Twitter.

"I practice human kindness, and I believe that we each have the right to determine what we are and what we are not," she adds.

"NO ONE ELSE can hold that power," she continues.
