Check out the rapper/singer's trippy new visual album.

(AllHipHop News) Will Smith may be seen as a ruling monarch of Instagram, but his son is also using the platform in innovative ways. Jaden Smith promised to released new music on his birthday, but he chose an unconventional method of sharing the material with his followers.

Yesterday, the 20-year-old artist premiered SYRE: The Electric Album on IG TV as a visual album. Jaden used the project to present fresh versions of songs from his SYRE LP.

For example, the Gold-certified "Icon" was uploaded to Smith's main Instagram page with the caption: "I Am Not An ICON?" Other clips covered "Lost Boy," "Ninety," and "B" as well as “Young Love Dies Young” which was labeled as "A Dream And Is Not Apart Of The SYRE Timeline."

The original SYRE was released in 2017 via MSFTSMusic/Roc Nation. A$AP Rocky and Raury were featured on the 17-track collection. In addition, Jaden recently dropped a single titled “Ghost" featuring Christian Rich.
