(AllHipHop News) Rapper Jaden Smith is using his clout to educate his fanbase about the environment.
Jaden was the co-host at the 2018 Environmental Media Association's Impact Summit, on Tuesday (May 22), during a ceremony at the Montage Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, California.
Jaden has been an environmental activist for several years and in 2015, he launched the JUST water, which producers water bottled in paper-based cartons.
The company's goal is to reduce the amount of plastic waste across the globe.
Now, Jaden is producing a six-part documentary series, which will launch on YouTube.
"It's going to help more, especially very young people, to educate themselves on what's going on," Jaden Smith explained. "Some people, 12-18 year-olds, might not necessarily be aware of what's happening."
The show will focus on the problems and the solutions, as well as the companies that are making innovations by recycling old materials.
According to Jaden Smith, he is looking to launch the next season already, with a television partner like National Geographic or Netflix.
"I want to educate people on all the different ways you can help, because there's just so many out there," Jaden Smith said.
