(AllHipHop News) Back in 2014, entertainment power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé brought in around $100 million from their "On The Run Tour." Billboard reports this summer's sequel could double the money intake of the original journey.
#OTRII has nearly twice as many dates as the '14 tour. The international stadium trek also involves what the publication calls "aggressive pricing" which can allow acts to make more revenue while charging less for upper-level seats.
According to Pollstar, Jay-Z's 2017 North American "4:44 Tour" grossed $39.3 million. Beyoncé's "The Formation World Tour" was the second highest grossing tour of 2016 with $256 million.
Jay and Bey came close to breaking the internet when the official announcement for the "On The Run II Tour" hit the web yesterday. Tidal subscribers and BeyHive fan club members are able to buy pre-sale tickets beginning March 14.
