(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z and Beyonce have unveiled details surrounding the production of their upcoming ‘‘On the Run II’’ tour.
The stage for the power couple's new tour is so big, it will only fit in football stadiums.
The stage for the ‘‘On the Run II’’ tour debuted tonight (June 6) in Cardiff.
The stage features two catwalks that extend deep into the audience.
Jay and Beyonce will also perform on a floating platform, that goes over half the length of the stadium.
The ‘‘On the Run II’’ tour is billed as a celebration of love, family and culture and the duo want fans in on the action.
So, Jay and Bey will introduce Club Carter, an interactive club, right in the middle of the stadium with a capacity of 700.
Every seat in the venue will get a birdseye view of Jay-Z and Beyonce, thanks to a performance wall embedded within the massive screens.
The pair are traveling with a 26-person vertical orchestra and 17 dancers.
The ‘‘On the Run II’’ tour will kick off on July 25 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.
Each concert on the 21-date trek is taking place at a different football stadium, to handle the large volume of people that are being anticipated.
Reports suggest the international outing could take in as much as $200 million.
