(AllHipHop News) It's been a news-making week for Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. The Hip Hop mogul released a new surprise collaborative album Everything Is Love with his wife Beyoncé, and the Brooklyn-raised emcee is also taking on a new job with Puma.
The German sportswear business announced Carter is now in a high-profile role for the basketball division. Jay is expected to lead brand creative direction for marketing campaigns.
"I can confirm that according to his deal, Jay-Z’s official designation is creative consultant," said Adam Petrick, Puma's global director of brand and marketing.
The Roc Nation Sports founder will contribute to the creation of products. He is also reportedly set to help identify entertainers to connect with the brand.
Roc Nation affiliates Rihanna and Big Sean have already teamed with Puma to release collections. This week has also seen the addition of NBA prospects Deandre Ayton and Marvin Bagley II to the company's roster.
