(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z has continued his string of big business moves as the rapper is reported to have offered Prince's estate $40 million for rights to the legend's unreleased music.
Page Six reports that Hov met with Prince's only full blood sister Tyka Nelson along with her husband Maurice Phillips in New York to pursue the deal.
However, before the deal can be closed, Nelson is required to receive a sign-off from all brothers and sisters in addition to the trust that is managing the estate.
Potential investor Jay-Z is also involved in negotiations for streaming rights with talks reported to be fierce and competitive.
Last week music label Warner Bros. announced that we'd be getting new music from Prince November 22 with a Purple Rain deluxe reissue, as well as the compilation Prince4Ever.
Both projects will feature unreleased songs from the legend before his 1996 exit from the label.
