(AllHipHop News) Kyrie Irving is joining the house that Hov built. Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter's Roc Nation Sports announced the 6-time NBA All-Star is the latest basketball player to partner with the company.
RNS posted an introductory video on social media featuring Jay-Z's "Thank You" serving as the soundtrack. On Instagram, Irving wrote, "Eye only know the best for Me... Family First. @rocnation @rocnationsports."
Meek Mill publicly welcomed Irving to the Roc family. Plus, there are reports the 27-year-old former Duke University point guard will join Roc Nation's Kevin Durant as part of the Brooklyn Nets next season.
Kyrie Irving was the first overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft. The Australia-born, New Jersey-raised athlete was awarded the NBA Rookie of the Year honor in 2012, and he won an NBA championship in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
