(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z has been one of the most outspoken advocates of Meek Mill in regards to the Philadelphia spitter's legal situation. According to Meek's attorney Joe Tacopina, Jay even sent a supportive letter to the judge overseeing Monday's probation hearing.
Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley still sentenced Meek to 2-4 years in state prison for violating his probation. The highly criticized decision even led to Jay posting a message about the case on social media.
Hov publicly addressed Meek's current circumstances again. He took time during the Dallas stop of the "4:44 Tour" to speak about the Roc Nation-managed rapper.
"I've got to say something about a young man by the name of Meek Mill. He caught a charge when he was like 19. He's 30 now. He's been on probation for 11 years. F-cking 11 years," Jay expressed to the crowd. "The judge gave him two to four years because he got arrested for being on a bike and popping a f-cking wheelie... Still n-gga."
The Hip Hop legend may actually be closer to the case than expected. Tacopina told Power 105.1's Angie Martinez that Brinkley suggested Meek leave Roc Nation in order to sign with a local manager connected to the judge.
