Rap mogul Jay-Z appeared on BBC Radio 1 and offered up some harsh words for Donald Trump

(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z is not a fan of United States President Donald Trump.

Jay was a guest on BBC Radio 1 during an interview with host Claro Amfo.

When the interview turned towards United States politics, and the state of African-Americans in particular, the hip-hop mogul was very blunt.

"I believe that we are resilient, especially us as black people and especially the culture," Jay-Z explained. "We’ve been through so much more than this guy. This guy, I’m looking at him like 'Man, this is a joke' – I can’t even say with all due respect – with all disrespect.

Jay also discussed the suicide of Linkin Park member Chester Bennington and the value of mental health.

“Hopefully his death serves as a wake-up call,” Jay-Z said. “Mental health is a real thing, and you never know what people are going through.”

Jay's remarks may validate reports that he and Kanye West are in the process of mending their relationship after Kanye suffered a mental breakdown on stage and called out Jay-Z and Beyoncé during a stop on his "Saint Pablo" tour.
