Jeezy Makes A Shocking Announcement And Fans Are Freaking Out

Jeezy sent his fans into a panic today on social media.

(AllHipHop News) Fans of Young Jeezy are mourning the rapper's career on Twitter today.

Jeezy hit the social media platform, to reveal he would release one more album and then he is calling it quits.

"As the Cold Summer tour comes to a end..It was inspiring seeing my day one fans since my first album & class TM 101 come out every night. Now class is coming to a end. It's time for Graduation," Jeezy tweeted.

The Atlanta rap legend then told his followers that his next album will be his last.

"My Last Album & Final Class: TM104 -#TrustYaProcess," Jeezy wrote.

Jeezy's major label debut Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 was the inaugural release in his Thug Motivation series of albums and it opened at #2 on the charts and eventually went platinum.

His next album The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102 hit #1 upon its release in December of 2006 and is certified platinum, selling over 1 million copies.

TM 103: Hustlerz Ambition dropped in December of 2011 and landed at #3 on the US Billboard 200, and has since moved over 500,000 copies, earning a gold certification.

The trio of albums produce a number of hits for Jeezy, including "Go Crazy," "I Luv It," "Go Getta" (featuring R. Kelly), 'I Do" and others.

Jeezy said he plans to remain involved in Avion's growth until at least 2020.

Regardless, Jeezy's fans were not too happy that he is planning on recording his "last" album.

Drop a final album, hopefully with a good "rule the summer" single, and then call it a day. I think it's a good move, for now. He's made his name, so pulling out while he's still well known works. Trap's moved on to mollys and Xan, which isn't Jeezy's forte, so...yeah. He's made some power moves with the likka deal, so steppin away for now shouldn't cost him anything...can always come back in a few years with some new shit.

Was never a Jeezy fan, but these new rappers make Jeezy look like Kool G Rap.

dude released only 3 albums but is already called a legend? Nowadays anyone who is a rapper is called a legend. What is th definition of a legend in this rap game?

I've been a jeezy fan since 2005. Not sure if its time though, Jeezy is just all over the place and hasnt really grown as an artist IMO. He definitely took a risk with the Church in these streets album, but I don't think it was well received. The follow up to that album was so-so, but Jeezy isnt really saying much these days. Pressure was okay, but Jeezy's last co-hesive project with hits was Seen it All, and that didnt even have THAT many hits. Jeezy isnt talking about Xanned up, popping molleys etc, I don't think the game is necessarily done with Trap Tales, but everyone is copying the Gucci Formula. Jeezy just needs a strong hit single to carry that momentum back, or maybe his audience grew up? As a fan, I definitely appreciate everything the homie has done, and will support no matter what.

I'm not sure if Jeezy should do it. He's got a lot of "life" left in this rap game.
