Jessie Reyez Reveals Alleged Sexual Abuser Detail Inspired Her Song "Gatekeeper"

Bebe Rexha says the producer tried to sexually assault her too.

(AllHipHop News) News broke this week that two female artists accused music producer Noel "Detail" Fisher of sexual assault. Aspiring singers Kristina Buch and Peyton Ackley received restraining orders against Detail.

Following the explosive TMZ report, singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez accused Fisher of sexual misconduct as well. She shared her alleged experience involving the "Drunk In Love" beat maker with her 46,000 Twitter followers.

"One night, over 6 years ago Noel ‘Detail’ Fisher tried this on me," tweeted Reyez. "I was lucky and I got out before it got to this. I didn’t know what to say or who to tell. I was scared. Fear is a real thing. The girls that came out are brave as hell."

Additionally, Reyez revealed on Instagram that one of her songs about misogyny in the music industry was inspired by Detail. The 27-year-old Toronto native wrote, "Yes this is who gatekeeper is about. My experience didn’t get this awful. I hope these women find justice."

Bebe Rexha also implicated Detail as a sexual abuser. The "Me, Myself & I" vocalist posted on IG, "He tried the same thing with me. I was just 19. I ran out of the studio crying. Awful Human. AND KARMa is a b-tch."

Detail has worked with numerous musicians throughout his career. He's created songs with Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Tinashe, Future, Kelly Rowland, Big Sean, Jhené Aiko, Miguel, and other acts.
