Jim Jones Hit With Four Felonies After Wild Police Chase In Georgia

A car Jim Jones was in lead police on a chase in Georgia and it ended with the rapper's arrest.

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Jim Jones is the latest member of The Diplomats to face some serious legal problems.

Jim is facing charges in Georgia after a group of people he was traveling with were caught with drugs and a gun.

According to the police, Jim was a passenger in the backseat of a car which was pulled over in Cowetta County, Georgia.

As cops approached the vehicle, the driver accelerated at a high rate in an attempt to flee.

During the chase, the driver struck a deputy's vehicle, before finally coming to a stop.

When police search the vehicle, they found loaded guns, and a cache of drugs including marijuana, vape cartridges, Oxycodone, Percocet THC oil, two loaded pistols and cash.

Jim admitted to possessing the Oxycodone's and the Percocets, since he allegedly has a prescription for both drugs.

Jim also claims he told the driver to stop, but she was apparently under the influence of some sort drug

However, no one took ownership of the guns, one of which was reportedly stolen.

All occupants in the vehicle were hit with the same four felony charges as Jim Jones, which includes possession of the stolen gun, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and possession of narcotics.

The rap star was also hit with two misdemeanor charges for having his prescription drugs outside of their original containers.

Jim Jones has since been released on $7, 000 bail.

Jim isn't the only member of Dipset facing legal issues.

Fellow group member Juelz Santana is facing up to 10 years in prison, after he was caught smuggling a two-shot pistol through Newark Liberty International Airport.
