Joe Budden Responds To Eminem's Diss On 'Kamikaze' Album

The rapper-turned-podcaster uses his show to fire back at Marshall.

(AllHipHop News) Joe Budden was among the targets on Eminem's Kamikaze album. Many Hip Hop fans have been waiting five days to see how Joey would respond to his Shady Records boss.

Em took issue with the former Slaughterhouse member's criticism of his 2017 LP Revival. On the Kamikaze track "Fall," the Detroit native rapped, "Somebody tell Budden before I snap, he better fasten it or have his body bag get zipped. The closest thing hes had to hits is smacking b*tches."

Instead of dropping a song like Machine Gun Kelly, Budden chose to counter Em via his podcast. A clip from this week's episode was uploaded to Twitter, and the video features Joe claiming he's been superior to Marshall Mathers in the 2010s.

Ive been better than you this entire f*cking decade," declared Budden. "Can't say that back then. But in my rapper brain, I'm a content n*gga. You gotta say something. You have not said anything for the better part of a whole f*cking decade. You have rhymed a bunch of words.

Eminem HASN'T said shit for a decade at least.. Totally agree with that and him just rhyming a bunch of words, the shit just doesn't grab me.. It's shit to say but hey, a sober & happy Em is a boring em.. Tired of his gruff put on voice & MGK is right, that beard looks funny. I loved em in his early days, especially the dissing benzino & Ja era, that shit was hilarious.. I'd love to see him come back like that but he's far from untouchable these days. Love "Nail in the Coffin" but I can't help but feel the role reversal with MGK.. "Nobody wants to hear their grandfather rap".

Budden lyrically was a beast too IMO, but he doesn't have enough for Em. I always respect Joe, as he tells you the truth, or how he feels, no sugar coating, the only thing is when Em gave you a shot at the end of your career, and you diss his music, shows no loyalty. Dont bite the hand that feeds you

Joe Budden has lost his mind. He's basically admitting defeat. He's Eminems ex employee. The last decade what has he done? If it wasnt for the podcast it would be "Joe Who?" He literally wishes he had Eminem's rap career, money and fame.
