Joe Jonas Finally Responds To Jay-Z's 'Blueprint 3' Bar About The Jonas Brothers

The former Disney Channel star jokes about Hov referring to the group's virginity promise.

(AllHipHop News) "No, I'm not a Jonas Brother, I'm a grown up. No, I'm not a virgin, I use my cojones," raps Jay-Z on "On To The Next One." Most listeners likely took the bar about the popular boy band as a wisecrack rather than a diss.

Joe Jonas did not seem to find the lyrics insulting either. While on First We Feast's Hot Ones, the New Jersey-raised singer was asked about the line from Jay's 2009 album The Blueprint 3.

"I thought that was awesome. Little did Jay-Z know, I used my cojones before that. So jokes on you, Jay-Z. Fact check your stuff," quipped the 29-year-old DNCE member. The openly religious, Disney-bred Jonas Brothers famously wore purity rings while teenagers as a public vow not to have premarital sex.

However, Joe admitted in a 2016 Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session that he lost his virginity to his onetime girlfriend Ashley Greene when he was 20 years old. He married Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner on May 1, 2019.

The Jonas Brothers' comeback LP, Happiness Begins, is scheduled for release on June 7. Jay-Z recently made The Blueprint 3, and its two predecessors, available for streaming on Apple Music.
