(AllHipHop News) Joe Budden shocked many Hip Hop fans when he decided to step up to the plate and take on veteran battle rapper Hollow Da Don at the Total Slaughter event this summer. In the end, Budden may have started a new craze of established recording artists agreeing to face-off in a sanctioned lyrical bout.

Now fellow Slaughterhouse member Joell Ortiz has stated he may be jumping in the battle arena too. Speaking with TheBeeShine, the Brooklyn rhymer touches on the possibility of being featured in a future TS match.
"They want me to get in the ring for Total Slaughter 2. They want me to battle. They feel like I would be good in that ring," said Ortiz. "I feel like I would too. I'm thinking about it."
Joell recently released his third studio album House Slippers. The project features appearances by Budden, Royce da 5'9", Crooked I, B.o.B, and Mally Stakz.
