Joey Bada$$ Offers Fans Intimate Show For Hurricane Help

Brooklyn rap star Joey Bada$$ is teaming up with a local politician to help victims of recent hurricanes.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era collective or flexing their political muscle with the borough president of the Brooklyn.

Joey and Pro Era are linking with Borough President Eric Adams, to launch the "Storm of Support" initiative for victims of multiple hurricanes throughout the Caribbean, Florida, and Texas over the past two months.

This Saturday, Joey will be at East River State Park in Williamsburg, and over in Fort Greene, to collect donated supplies that will be shipped off to hurricane victims.

"It's an honor to be working with Borough President Adams on this very special and important event, and I couldn't think of a better venue than Brooklyn Borough Hall," said Joey Bada$$. "Me and all of Pro Era grew up in East Flatbush and thus have a particular loyalty to and affinity for our home borough. Furthermore, we are all children of West Indian immigrants and are grateful for the opportunity to offer them some form of aid."

The Pro Era crew is making an offer to anyone who contributes to the "Storm of Support" drive.

In exchange for a contribution, fans will get an exclusive wristband to a VIP show at Brooklyn Borough Hall featuring Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era.

The "Storm of Support" starts in Williamsburg from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Pro Era will then be at Fort Greene Park in Fort Greene from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Accepted donations include: oversized shirts, brand-new socks or underwear, baby formula, bottled water, canned/non-perishable food items, pet food, cleaning supplies, flashlights, C and D batteries, heavy-duty trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, tarps, baby wipes, children's diapers, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, hand sanitizer, cleansing or disinfectant wipes, shampoo and hair conditioner, razors and shaving cream, soap or body wash, mouthwash, as well as toothbrushes and toothpaste.
