Jordyn Woods To Make Her Television Acting Debut As Guest Star On 'Grown-ish'

Freeform recruited the former reality show star for the college-set sitcom.

(AllHipHop News) Some people wondered what would happen to Jordyn Woods following the alleged Tristan Thompson cheating scandal. Kylie Jenner's former best friend is not falling back. She's actually stepping further into the spotlight.

Woods is set to appear as a guest star on an upcoming episode of the Freeform television show Grown-ish. The spin-off of ABC’s Black-ish tapped the social media influencer to play a freshman student named Dee alongside series regular Trevor Jackson.

"I’ve been waiting to share this with you guys but I am SO excited to guest star on this season of #grownish it returns June 5th on @freeform ✨ This was the first role I’ve ever booked and I was nervous at first but I got past that and had the best time🙏🏽 take risks and stay consistent to your journey, you never know what the world has to offer✨," wrote Woods on Instagram.

Grown-ish is headed by Yara Shahidi as California University sophomore Zoey Johnson. The cast also includes Deon Cole, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat, and Diggy Simmons. Woods' episode is scheduled to premiere July 24.

In February, Jordyn Woods made national headlines when reports circulated that she possibly engaged in improper sexual behavior at a party with Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloe Kardashian's daughter. The 21-year-old entrepreneur later sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith for Red Table Talk in order to push back against rumors she betrayed Kylie Jenner's sister.

Prior to her presence on Grown-ish, Woods was featured on the reality TV programs Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Jenner‘s Life of Kylie. This season of KUWTK showcases Khloe and Kylie's reaction to the Thompson/Woods situation.
