Joyner Lucas Calls Out Tory Lanez For Not Earning A Grammy Nomination

Do Recording Academy nods give Joyner a win over Tory?

(AllHipHop News) Those people thinking the Joyner Lucas/Tory Lanez battle was over should probably get prepared for another round in the verbal clash. Lucas took another swipe at Lanez after the Grammy nominations were announced.

"Shout out to my man Tory Lanez. Tory, you was nominated for a Grammy this year?" asked Joyner. "I was just wondering since you got me my first plaque. Right? I just wanted to know if you were nominated this year for anything. Just curious."

Joyner Lucas picked up his first two nods from the Recording Academy this year - Best Rap Song (Eminem's "Lucky You") and Best Music Video ("I'm Not Racist"). Daystar "Tory Lanez" Peterson was shut out for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

Lanez has one career Grammy nomination. Two years ago, the 26-year-old singer/rapper was listed in the Best R&B Song category for "Luv." The record lost to Maxwell's "Lake By The Ocean."
