(AllHipHop News) Back in May, reports began circulating that the California-based rapper known as BOE Sosa was arrested for armed robbery. On June 18, Yuba County Superior Court Judge Debra L. Givens dismissed the charges without objection.
The District Attorney requested the dismissal. As of result, Judge Givens declared the 16-year-old Sacramento resident innocent of the charges.
"I am happy to be back doing what I need to do, and that's represent the best of me. It was a hell people will never know to be ripped away from your family and taken to a place you've never been, held in jail, and told you're getting ten years,” Sosa tells AllHipHop. “No one in the system would believe me that I was innocent. I stayed strong in that jail and kept up my part, my lawyer and my family then fought hard to free me.”
He continues, “Six weeks after my arrest, the men who actually did the robbery were caught and charged. The message is to keep your faith and stay strong, no matter what, no matter the challenge. That's what makes you who you are."
BOE Sosa's burgeoning rap career has seen him gain noticeable views on YouTube over the last year. His “Keep It With Me” music video currently sits at over 4.8 million plays, and his “Hell And Back” visuals were uploaded to the popular WorldStarHipHop page. He is currently working on some new projects.
