(AllHipHop News) A lawyer hired to represent the infamous judge presiding over Meek Mill's probation case has apparently sided with the rapper.
Judge Genece Brinkley hired Lawyer Charles Peruto Jr. to defend her from escalating attacks launched by Meek Mill's attorney Joseph Tacopina.
Just before Judge Brinkley denied Meek a new trial, Charles Peruto Jr. was caught on a live microphone by a documentary film crew working on a documentary about Meek Mill.
Charles Peruto said he agreed Meek's defense team, since both prosecutors and the rapper's lawyers in the case are in agreeance that Meek may not have received a fair trial, which resulted in his conviction for possession of drugs and a gun in 2008.
“Prosecution and defense agree — goodbye," Charles Peruto can be heard saying before he insults Judge Genece Brinkley.
“She looks f##king awful,” Charles Peruto said of the Judge Brinkley's appearance.
The comments were caught by a film crew working on a documentary about Meek's legal woes for Roc Nation and Amazon.
Charles Peruto said he doesn't believe he really made the comments, but if he did they should have remained off the record.
"Tape or no tape, I don’t believe I said it. If I said something off the record, it should not be on the transcript,” Peruto said.
