Judge Overseeing Meek Mill's Case Lifts Travel Ban
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Meek Mill has finally been granted permission to leave Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while he's out on bail.
According to reports, Judge Genece Brinkley agreed to amend the conditions of his release, as Meek awaits his next hearing in June.
Judge Brinkley is allowing Meek to travel, as long as he presents his travel plans to the probation department 72 hours in advance.
Meek must also submit a urine test each month he is on probation.
Meek's lawyers will attempt to have his original conviction vacated in June over claims the cop who arrested him had been named as part of a local corruption scandal.
Although Judge Genece Brinkley refused to toss Meek's 2008 conviction even though the Supreme Court freed the rap star, her latest ruling offers a glimmer of hope for his upcoming court hearing.
