Judge Sends Suge Knight's Fiance To Jail For Three Years
(AllHipHop News) Marion "Suge" Knight's ex-fiance is heading to jail for her role in helping secure an interview for the upcoming docu-series "Death Row Chronicles."
Toi-Lin Kelly will spend the next three years in prison, for putting so get in touch with two producers who have also been subpoenaed.
Suge has been held in solitary confinement since January of 2015, as he awaits an April murder trial.
A judge barred Suge from having communication with anyone except his attorney representing him for his upcoming trial for 2015 murder of Terry Carter, and the attempted murder of his associate, Cle "Bone " Sloan.
Toi-Lin Kelly violated that order by arranging the interview for the producers, who were subpoenaed last week over their communication with the former Death Row Records CEO.
Prosecutors maintain say Suge, his lawyer Matthew Fletcher and Kelly conspired to leak the field video for $55,000.
"To me, it's pretty blatant, and frankly, jaw-dropping," a judge told Toi-Lin Kelly, referencing his earlier sentence of probation over the leaked footage to TMZ.
Despite Toi-Lin Kelly pleas to the court for mercy for the sake of her eight-year-old son, a judge slapped her with the three-year prison sentence for helping to arrange the interview with Suge.
