Juelz Santana Surrenders To Start Two-Year Sentence Over Airport Gun Incident

The Diplomats rapper officially started his prison sentence.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Juelz Santana has surrendered to authorities to begin a 27-month sentence for bringing a loaded gun to an airport.

Juelz, born LaRon James, was initially ordered to supposed turn himself into authorities on January 30, but a judge agreed to delay the deadline until the end of February.

The rapper complied with a judge's order and surrendered at the Petersen Medium FCI on February 28 in Hopewell, Virginia.

He was sentenced in December, of 2018, nine months after security officials at the Newark Airport discovered a loaded gun and non-prescribed Oxy pills in his carry-on bag.

It won't be over for Juelz when he comes home. The rapper will also be on supervised release for 12 months.
