An autopsy of the rapper/singer was inconclusive.

(AllHipHop News) Details surrounding Jarad "Juice WRLD" Higgins' death continue to trickle out. The "Lucid Dreams" performer died of an apparent drug overdose on December 8 after a flight from Los Angeles to Chicago.

There have been reports that FBI and Homeland Security officials found three handguns and 70 lbs of marijuana on the private jet Juice was traveling on that day. Additionally, he allegedly swallowed several Percocet pills on the plane in an attempt to hide them from officers.

TMZ is also reporting that federal agents have been monitoring Higgins and his team for nearly a month. The Chicago-born rapper and his entourage allegedly underwent a search by Custom agents' drug-sniffing dogs at LAX airport on November 18.

It is not clear if anything illegal was found on the airplane at that time, and Juice WRLD was supposedly able to travel to Sydney, Australia. There is unsubstantiated speculation that the November incident may have led to an FBI task force awaiting Juice at Midway in Chicago on Sunday.

According to USA Today, the initial autopsy of Juice WRLD was inconclusive. Official spokeswoman Natalia Derevyanny said, "The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that additional studies are required to establish the cause and manner of death for 21-year-old Jarad A. Higgins."
