Jussie Smollett Accused Of Mailing Hate Letter Filled With Aspirin To "Empire"
(AllHipHop News) Actor Jussie Smollett's criminal rap sheet could grow longer, now that he is being investigated over a letter sent through the mail threatening him.
Jussie is already facing a felony charge in Chicago for faking a hate crime attack on January 29.
The actor's story fell apart after two Nigerian brothers admitted they were part of a plot organized and funded by Jussie.
The "Empire" star allegedly paid the brothers $3,500 to beat him up, pour bleach on him and tie a noose around his neck.
According to the cops, just one week before the alleged attack, an envelope with a white powder was sent to Chicago’s Cinespace Studios.
The location is where "Empire" is filmed.
According to the latest developments, Jussie concocted the attack when the letter "didn't get enough attention."
The letter contained "racist" and "homophobic" slurs formed from letters which were cut out of magazines.
Investigators say the found a magazine, a book of stamps, and a “piece of paper/writing” were found in the home of Ola and Abel Osundairo.
After examination, the substance mailed with the letter turned out to be aspirin.
