(AllHip Hop News) Just Blaze might be orchestrating the oddest posse cut pairing in years. On Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg's Juan Epstein podcast, the producer/DJ revealed that while Jay Z is not on the official release of Just Blaze and Baauer's "Higher" by Priority Records, he still may lend some bars.
"Because the records was previously released by myself, like on my own, people see the official release and see "featuring Jay Z" and they're think 'oh he's on it.' He's not on it as of right now in the rapping sense. That could change."
While Jay Z's involvement is in limbo, Blaze revealed another hit maker is already confirmed to being on the record:
"There are some other artists I have sourced out the only person I will say is confirmed and already finished is 2 Chainz. Gunplay if you hear this, send that verse please."
Blaze also revealed his ideal lineup for the remix to the smash hit would be "Hov. Gunplay and Waka." When asked by Cipha about if Jay would approve being on a record with Waka and Gunplay Blaze quipped "that would be a conversation" and that "there have been conversation about...these things."
