(AllHipHop Rumors) An Arizona man has been arrested by local police for the stabbing death of a Black teenager for playing rap music too loud.
17-year-old Elijah Alamin was reportedly stabbed to death by 27-year-old Michael Adams last Thursday about 1:47 am. Adams is presently in police custody for murder that has jump started the social justice movement #JusticeForElijah. Adams has confessed to the crime and is currently in police custody.
Police obtained surveillance footage from a convenience store that showed Adams following Alamin inside the store, where he aggressively attacked the teen. The teen ran from the store, but he had already been stabbed. He eventually fell from his wounds. First responders tried to revive Alamin with CPR, but he died on the way to the hospital.
All of this occurred, because Adams told Alamin he was playing rap music too loud.
Adams, a white male, told police that Alamin was playing rap music too loud, and that he felt threatened. He was so frightened (insert sarcasm), he pursued the teen, stabbed him in the back with a pocket knife and finally slit his throat, according to court records.
The Tuesday before the murder, the 27-year-old man was in the Arizona State Prison Complex in Yuma.
Adams has been charged with first-degree murder.
Critics have said that this is a hate crime.
