Kanye Was Cool But Paul McCartney Really Wanted To Work With Kendrick Lamar

The legendary Beatles frontman was disappointed he missed out on working with Kendrick Lamar.

(AllHipHop News) The odd duo of Paul McCartney and Kanye West produced three hits singles for the pair.

The collaboration between Paul McCartney and Kanye West produced "FourFiveSeconds," "Only One" and "All Day," with the latter also boasting lyrics by Kendrick Lamar, who co-wrote the tune for Kanye.

Amazingly, Paul McCartney was unaware of Kendrick Lamar's involvement until more recently, when he happened to look up the full writing credits.

"There were only three of them I knew and one of them's Kendrick Lamar!" he said of the other songwriters on the track.

Paul McCartney said he was extremely disappointed he didn't get to actually work with Kendrick Lamar, who recently picked up a Pulitzer Prize for his Hit album DAMN.

"I'm thinking, 'I've written a song with Kendrick Lamar? I wish I'd met him!' But that's just the way they do it these days," Paul McCartney explained.
