(AllHipHop News) Once again, Kanye West faced a media firestorm after he doubled down on his support for Donald Trump and called for the abolition of the 13th Amendment. However, it looks like West’s controversial antics may not prevent him from making a return to Indio, California.

HitsDailyDouble is reporting that Kanye is one of the potential headliners for the 2019 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The Kids See Ghosts member famously played the 2011 event.

“This Is America” hitmaker Childish Gambino is apparently on the short list for next year’s Coachella as well. Pop icon Justin Timberlake’s name is also mentioned in the HDD article. The two-weekend festival is scheduled for April 12-14 and April 19-21.

Previous Hip Hop headliners have included Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, OutKast, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem. Global superstar Beyoncé received widespread praise for her 2018 Coachella performance which highlighted HBCU culture.
