(AllHipHop News) When Kanye West announced he was delaying his album Yandhi to record in Africa, most people thought he was making an excuse to delay the release.
But Ye, Kim Kardashian, and their children popped up in Uganda, set up shop on the Nile River, at the Chobe Safari Lodge.
Kanye seemed to be enjoying his time in the country, where he handed out pairs of his sneakers to locals and even met with President Yoweri Museveni.
But the rapper surprised everyone when he popped back up in October, where he ate at a beloved Mexican restaurant in his signature "Make America Great Again" hat.
Then, Ye announced he was delaying Yandhi again, and now a shocking new reason may be behind this delay.
According to reports, Kanye thought he was being kidnapped when he went out on a jungle safari.
Apparently, the rapper and his security team were traveling through the bush with tour guides, when the locals decided they wanted to camp out in the jungle, instead of taking Kanye back to his 5-star lodge.
The rapper hired another set of locals to take him back, but his security team ended up getting into a beef with the original guides.
Both sides allegedly drew weapons on each other, and after a few hours of tense negotiations, the locals put their guns down.
According to reports, Kanye hired a chartered plane and he and his family left the following morning.
