Kanye West has made a return to the stage for the first time since a nervous breakdown sidelined the famous rapper.

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West returned to the stage for the first time since his meltdown almost a year ago, when he surprised Kid Cudi fans in his native Chicago, Illinois.

The two rappers teamed up to perform "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt 1." at the Aragon Ballroom.

The track featured on Kanye's acclaimed Life of Pablo album, which he was promoting on tour when he suffered a breakdown and was admitted to the hospital.

He last appeared onstage in November 2016 in Sacramento, California, where he arrived late and performed for just 15 minutes, during which he attacked former friends Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Following the poorly received show, Kanye canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour.

Saturday night's get together with Kid Cudi also marked the official end of the two rapper's 2016 feud, which ended with Cudi entering rehab.
